Technology for Contractors and home services
Software and websites for contractors and home services.
Contractors usually don't need a generic website as much as they need estimate requests, job photos, appointment windows, customer records, deposits and progress invoices, and follow-up to agree with each other. TwoQM, based in Brownsville, Texas, plans and builds those connections — structured estimate intake with photos, job files the office and crew can share, bilingual homeowner paths, and milestone invoicing — and keeps the website, domain email, and hosting running under one operator. Every project is scoped to the trade's real workflow first. Start at twoqmllc.com/start or email juan@twoqm.com.

Practical planning
Move estimate requests into a staff workflow
A request can capture job type, location, timing, and approved attachments. We can scope assignment and status tracking so the person scheduling an inspection has the original context.
These are options for custom development. We agree on scope, integrations, and operating costs with your team before building.
What to share
Service boundaries, job categories, estimate stages, staff responsibilities, and current tools.
Custom softwareTwoQM clients can also follow up on website leads, appointments, and support requests in TwoQM Central and the TwoQM app.

Where contractor workflows break
The pattern repeats across trades. An estimate request comes in by phone, another by text, a third through a social DM, and each one is missing something — the address, the job type, or the photos the estimator needs. The photos that do exist sit in a technician's personal camera roll, so the office calls the homeowner back to ask for the same details again.
Appointment and inspection windows get confirmed with the customer but never reach the crew in the same form, or the crew gets the window and the customer doesn't. The customer record lives in one place and the job file in another. Deposits, progress payments, and final invoices are tracked by hand, so the approved estimate and the final invoice drift apart, and change orders agreed on site never update the original estimate.
Spanish-speaking homeowners land on an English-only form and call instead — or don't. And when storm season or a heat wave arrives, crew capacity, materials, and weather holds are managed on a whiteboard that only the office can see. None of this is a design problem. It comes from the same job information living in too many places.

What TwoQM connects or builds
TwoQM matches the work to the contractor's real need — not a generic industry template.
Estimate intake that captures job type, location, timing, and approved photos or attachments in one request, then assigns it with status tracking so the person scheduling the inspection has the original context. Deposit, progress, and final invoice milestones tied to the job, so the office can see what was approved, what changed, and what is still owed. Job costing and change-order tracking where the trade needs it, and preventive-maintenance rosters with visit windows for service contracts.
Capacity boards for crews, materials, and weather holds during storm season, and seasonal crew routes with property notes for recurring work. Automation with human review for estimate follow-ups, appointment reminders, and review requests, where a person approves what goes out. And bilingual estimate paths and service-area pages, so homeowners can request work in English or Spanish.

Contractors in the Valley
Construction is a large part of the Rio Grande Valley's small-business base. In the U.S. Census Bureau's 2023 ZIP Code Business Patterns (NAICS 23, construction), employer establishments by postal city were: McAllen 195, Brownsville 191, Edinburg 142, and Harlingen 111. Two caveats: postal cities are not the same as city limits, and the counts include only employer establishments — solo owner-operators and many small specialty trades without payroll are often not counted. TwoQM works with contractors in each of these cities remotely from Brownsville.

What to share before a scoping call
Bring your service boundaries and trade mix, the job categories you quote, and the stages an estimate moves through. Add your rules for photos and attachments, your deposit and progress-invoice policy, the names of the estimating and scheduling tools you use today, who handles dispatch versus office work, who approves change orders, and whether homeowners and crews need English, Spanish, or both. With that, TwoQM can tell you what can be connected, what needs a new tool, and what you can simply clean up yourself.

When you don't need custom work
If your current estimating or scheduling tool's built-in request page works, and your Google profile shows the right service area, hours, and links, start there. Many small shops only need the website, domain email, and hosting cleaned up so the estimate link and contact details are consistent. Custom software makes sense when estimates, photos, invoices, or crew scheduling cost real time every week.

Foundation — domain email, hosting, one operator
Contractor tech fails quietly when the site is on one vendor, email on another, and the domain renewal on a former employee's personal account. TwoQM's foundation keeps the website, domain email, and hosting under one Brownsville operator, and local SEO work keeps service areas, hours, and contact details consistent across the places homeowners check. If you prefer to host the site yourself, you can do that after paying a full one-time website price based on scope.

Direct answers
Common questions from contractors and home services.
Does TwoQM use a generic template for contractors?
No. Common capabilities are listed as a starting point, but every project is planned around the contractor's brand, trade mix, service area, tools, and real workflow.
Can you connect estimate requests, job photos, and status?
Yes. TwoQM can plan an estimate form that collects job type, location, timing, and approved photos, then route it to the right person with assignment and status tracking — scoped to the tools you already use where those tools allow.
Can the website be English and Spanish?
Yes. Content, navigation, estimate forms, and technical foundations can be designed as one coherent bilingual experience.
Can homeowners request estimates in Spanish?
Yes when the project needs it. A Spanish estimate path — form labels, confirmation messages, and follow-up wording — can stay in sync with the English one.
Can you work with the estimating or scheduling tool we already use?
Usually we plan the connection to your existing estimating or scheduling provider where that provider's tools allow — website links, request routing, reminders, and status updates — rather than forcing a replacement. What is possible depends on the provider.
Can estimate photos and job notes stay with the customer record?
That is a common goal: photos, site notes, and the approved estimate attached to the same customer and job record the office and crew use, instead of a personal camera roll. How it is built depends on your current tools.
Do we need custom software or just a better website?
It depends on the workflow. If the problem is an unclear estimate path and outdated service-area pages, a better website is usually enough. If estimates, invoices, change orders, or crew scheduling take real time every week, a business app or custom tool may fit. See pricing for all three categories.
