Technology for Restaurants and food businesses

Software and websites for restaurants and food businesses.

Restaurants usually don't need a generic website as much as they need their menu, hours, online-ordering links, catering requests, deposits, allergen notices, and shift coverage to agree with each other. TwoQM, based in Brownsville, Texas, plans and builds those connections — one source for menus and hours, catering intake with deposit and balance tracking, notices that reach the kitchen and the front together, and English and Spanish customer flows — and keeps the website, domain email, and hosting running under one operator. Every project is scoped to the restaurant's real workflow first. Start at twoqmllc.com/start or email juan@twoqm.com.

What needs to work

A professional presence connected to the business behind it.

TwoQM helps restaurants, food trucks, caterers, and hospitality teams create a clearer customer experience and a more organized technology foundation.

  • Ordering and reservation links

Practical planning

Keep menus and ordering paths current

We can organize menus, catering inquiries, and links to your ordering provider. Custom tools for menus or event requests are scoped separately from third-party ordering and payment services.

These are options for custom development. We agree on scope, integrations, and operating costs with your team before building.

What to share

Approved menus, hours, ordering links, dietary information, and who owns updates.

Where restaurant workflows break

The pattern is familiar. The website says the kitchen closes at 10, the Google profile says 9, and the ordering page still shows the summer hours. The menu PDF is three price changes old, while the printed menus at the host stand are current. An item gets 86'd at 6 p.m., but online orders keep coming in for it until someone remembers to switch it off.

Allergen and recipe changes reach the line through a quick huddle, but servers hear about them secondhand — or not at all. Catering inquiries arrive by Instagram DM, text, phone, and email, so nobody can say which requests are confirmed, which are waiting on a quote, and which deposits have been paid. Deposits and final balances get mixed into daily sales, which makes reconciling an event harder than it should be.

On the staffing side, a 4 p.m. call-out turns into a group-text scramble, and the manager approving the swap is reading three threads at once. In the back office, vendor invoices and delivery tickets live in a folder, a phone camera roll, and an inbox. None of these problems is about design. They come from the same information living in too many places.

What TwoQM connects or builds

TwoQM matches the work to the restaurant's real need — not a generic industry template.

A menu and hours source of truth that feeds the website and the links to your ordering or reservation provider, so a price or holiday-hours change is made once and checked everywhere. Catering intake that collects date, headcount, package, and dietary needs in one form, then tracks the quote, deposit, final balance, and event calendar so the kitchen and the person selling the event see the same record.

Allergen and menu-change notices that go to the front and the kitchen together, with a record of who confirmed them — a communication workflow, not a food-safety certification. Shift coverage and call-out requests that route to a manager for approval instead of a group text. Automation with human review for catering follow-ups, review requests, and reminder texts, where a person approves what goes out. And bilingual menus, ordering paths, and staff notices, so Spanish-speaking guests and staff are not stuck in an English-only path.

Real work — Spartan Greek

For Spartan Greek Authentic Food, TwoQM translated the food, family character, menu, and practical visit information into a fast mobile experience: food-first visual language, mobile menu and visit details, and an authentic brand story. The case study shows the public website; new integrations or software features for your restaurant are scoped separately rather than assumed from another project.

Restaurants in the Valley

Restaurants are a large part of the Rio Grande Valley's small-business landscape. In the U.S. Census Bureau's 2023 ZIP Code Business Patterns (NAICS 7225, restaurants and other eating places), employer establishments by postal city were: McAllen 406, Brownsville 351, Mission 165, Edinburg 164, and Harlingen 152. Two caveats: postal cities are not the same as city limits, and the counts include only employer establishments — food trucks and solo caterers without payroll are often not counted. TwoQM works with restaurants in each of these cities remotely from Brownsville.

What to share before a scoping call

Bring your approved menu and prices, regular and holiday hours, and the names of the ordering, reservation, and POS providers you use today. Add your catering packages and deposit policy wording, who owns allergen information, who approves menu changes, the staff roles that need to receive notices, and whether guests and staff need English, Spanish, or both. With that, TwoQM can tell you what can be connected, what needs a new tool, and what you can simply clean up yourself.

When you don't need custom work

If your ordering or POS provider's built-in page already shows a correct menu, and your Google profile has the right hours and links, start there. Many restaurants only need the website, domain email, and hosting cleaned up so the menu link, hours, and catering contact are consistent. Custom software makes sense when catering, deposits, notices, or staffing are costing real time every week.

Foundation — domain email, hosting, one operator

Restaurant tech fails quietly when the site is on one vendor, email on another, and the domain renewal on a former manager's personal account. TwoQM's foundation keeps the website, domain email, and hosting under one Brownsville operator, and local SEO work keeps hours, menu links, and contact details consistent across the places guests check. If you prefer to host the site yourself, you can do that after paying a full one-time website price based on scope.

Direct answers

Common questions from restaurants and food businesses.

Does TwoQM use a generic template for restaurants?

No. Common capabilities are listed as a starting point, but every project is planned around the restaurant's brand, menu, service style, providers, and real workflow.

Can you connect catering inquiries and deposits?

Yes. TwoQM can plan a catering intake form, quote and deposit tracking, final-balance reminders, and an event calendar — scoped to the tools you already use where those tools allow.

Can the website be English and Spanish?

Yes. Menus, content, navigation, forms, and technical foundations can be designed as one coherent bilingual experience.

Can you work with the ordering or POS system we already use?

Usually we plan the connection to your existing ordering or POS provider where that provider's tools allow — website links, menu and hours updates, and inquiry routing — rather than forcing a replacement. What is possible depends on the provider.

Can menu and hours update in one place?

That is a common goal: one menu and hours source that feeds the website and the links guests use, so staff and guests see the same information. Whether a single edit can push everywhere depends on your providers' tools.

Do we need custom software or just a better website?

It depends on the workflow. If the problem is an outdated menu and inconsistent hours, a better website is usually enough. If catering, deposits, notices, or staffing take real time every week, a business app or custom tool may fit. See pricing for all three categories.
